a bit about me.

I’ve always been a deeply creative person who loved a good story. As a kid, I obsessed over the epic adventures I watched play out in Star Wars and The Dark Knight, like so many of us have. As time went on, though, I realized that in addition to being deeply creative, I was also deeply observant. I saw pain, hope, triumph, loss and love play out in simple conversation, or the faces of passersby.

Once I realized this ability to see stories, my mission became learning what medium I was going to use to tell them.

I wrote stories, poems, and music. I drew cartoons and experimented with becoming a journalist. I went as far as getting a degree in Public Relations before realizing that when I’d most enjoyed watching these stories play out between people, I had been imagining them into films in my head.

I found my way back to filmmaking after discovering that cinematography was the true amalgamation of my dreams and interests. There was a bit of figuring out to do being self-taught, but I think my lack of formal training promoted an unbridled creativity. In the last five years, I’ve shot a number of projects across film and TV; filmed with artists such as Sam Smith, Ed Sheeran, Pharrell, Burna Boy, and Mary J. Blige, athletes such as Brittney Griner, Shannon Sharpe, Chad Ochocinco, Alycia Baumgardner, and Terence Crawford; and shot commercials for brands such as Gucci, Vogue, Google, Apple Music, Facebook, Adidas, Puma, Everlast, and Amazon.

My work has screened internationally at festivals such as Raindance Film Festival, the Blackstar Film Festival, Doc NYC, the Atlanta Film Festival, and the Chicago International Film Festival, and has been featured in Rolling Stone, The FADER, PAPER Magazine, Booooooom, and Director’s Notes. In 2023, I was named an ASC Rising Star by American Cinematographer, and in 2024 selected as an ASC Vision Mentee. Most recently, I shot the hit Amazon Prime docuseries ‘The Money Game: LSU’, executive produced by Shaquille O’Neal.

When I’m not on set, I can usually be found roaming about NYC with a camera, fantasizing about my undying dream of becoming a race car driver, or suffering as a hopelessly (irrationally?) optimistic fan of Manchester United and DC sports teams.
